This summer I finally made it across the pond to Europe! We had 3 days in Galway.
I thought it would be fun to start a little travel series on here, but let’s be honest… How often to I really travel? Like most Americans, I probably get my standard two weeks per year. So instead of making it a big production and thinking of a more original title than “Passport to [insert destination]” and doing cool graphics, I’m just gonna not think too much into this.
Things to do in Galway:
WEAR // It’s Ireland, it rains a lot. You will definitely need an umbrella, a waterproof jacket, and probably long sleeves even in summer (we visited in July). That being said, I was glad to have this glorious maxi dress and leather jacket during a lucky sun break.
EAT // Grab savory pies for dinner and something sweet for dessert at The Pie Maker. Stop by Griffin’s Bakery for the cuteness factor (picture following).
WANDER // Painted door addicts need only wander to the center of town. To experience the raw beauty of scenic Ireland, drive to the Cliffs of Moher. It will probably be rainy and windy but it will be so green and luscious and beautiful.
All photos are shot on my iPhone 6 and posted on my Instagram (@alexisscarlet).
