Let there be ligh…err, I mean leather.
If I were to create a set of fashion commandments, I couldn’t leave out both lace and leather, and maybe a little leopard for alliteration. The first mentioned “l” words are the perfect mix of masculinity and femininity, especially in the form of a moto jacket mixed with a white lace pencil skirt. The other great thing about the two is their individual textures, because it’s all about texture, baby. Above color, structure, price, and silhouette, it’s an item’s texture that draws me in most when shopping. Leather is shiny, earthy, strong, and rich. Lace is intricate, delicate, romantic, airy, and multidimensional. Separately, they are marvels; together, they are magic.
In leather, lace, a crop top, pencil skirt, and leopard, I really feel like I can conquer the world. It’s like I’m wearing all my favorite things at once.
You know I’m cool because I have messy hair and a leather jacket on. And that concludes style advice learned by Johnny Depp for today.
So zen. Who knew the key to enlightenment was a great outfit?
I’ll be here all day ‘erry day.
And now for the strange part of the shoot where you catch me doing laundry.
Bags on bags on bags.
